Postgraduate Studies and Research
Alexandria University has a wide range of modern facilities for post graduate studies and research in all Faculties and its main Institutes for research (the Institute for Medical Research and the Institute for Higher Studies and Research). Graduate courses and research are leading to Diploma, Masters, and Ph.D. degrees.
The minimum period of study for a Masters is one year, and 2 years for Ph.D., and one to two years for Diploma depending on the field of study. Postgraduate studies in all Faculties and Institutes follow credit hour system.
Research projects and activities are implemented either on the University premises, in local communities within Alexandria Governorate or on the national level.
